To invest and protect the funds of the Community Trust of Maniototo, to enable distributions of grants to the Maniototo people and organisations. This includes those that are within the original boundaries of the Maniototo County (Lauder/Becks/Hyde).
A CHARITABLE TRUST
We are a registered charitable trust set up to inspire and enable generosity around the Maniototo District. We were established in 1974. We are governed by locals and funds stay local.
INVESTORS
We receive gifts and bequest from generous people, business and organisations and invest the funds responsibly to generate income.
DISTRIBUTIONS
The income we generate, we distribute back into community causes. We meet twice a year in conjunction with the Maniototo Community Board to distribute funds and on application at anytime.
