At the heart of the Maniototo, we exist to grow something that lasts. The Community Trust of Maniototo invests and protects funds received from individuals, businesses and community sources, ensuring they continue to support the people, places and organisations that make our district unique. 

Each year, we return that income to the community through grants that support local initiatives, projects and people. Whether through our scheduled funding rounds or applications at any time, we are here to help strengthen the Maniototo, now and into the future.

Established in 1974, we are a registered charitable trust governed by people who live here and understand the needs of our community. We actively welcome donations, bequests and contributions from those who want to give back to the Maniototo.  

From Lauder to Becks to Hyde (which were previously parts of the Maniototo County), our focus is simple: keep it local and make it count.

Through careful and responsible investment, these funds become a lasting source of income that can support our community well into the future.
